Saturday is going to be awesome. Beckoning me is artfest’s promise of music, drink and culture. I’m also beckoned by the beautiful game as Euro 2008 starts on the same day. Now all that’s left is to devise a way of experiencing and enjoying both things.
Yesterday I became a “facebook” citizen

I had always avoided social networking sites because I’d thought that I had no use for them since I keep in touch with enough old friends. However, yesterday I realised that I was wrong. I joined facebook yesterday just so as to view the profile of an old friend that I’d not heard from in a while and ended up reconnecting with almost every acquaintance from my secondary school. I’ve even reconnected with some teachers. This facebook thing is not too bad.
